If you are still looking for a job, how does a job at GM sound?  They're hiring part-time workers as soon as possible.

When the pandemic started, a lot of people found themselves out of work for no other reason than the work just wasn't there.  If this is you, and you're ready to get back working again, GM is looking for some quality part-time employees in Lockport.

According to WIVB, they are looking to hire 50 part-time temporary employees to support manufacturing components for some of the company’s most important vehicles, including the Chevrolet Corvette and Silverado, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade.

The starting wage is $16.67 per hour with health care options and holiday benefits after 90 days according to their Human Resources and Labor Relations Director Jodi West.

You will have to pass GM hiring process requirements, including hair drug testing and background checks.

This seems like a perfect chance for someone who is looking for some extra income or maybe a little more to make up for what was lost last year.  I've often said though that you never know what kind of doors will open when you take advantage of opportunity.  Maybe you're looking for something that is more permanent.  That's a legit concern, but if you go to work every day like you're interviewing for the job that you want, instead of the job that you have, you never know who might see it and put a good word in for you.

You never know.
