According to WIVB, a six-year-old girl from California who went missing back in June of 2019, has been located here in Buffalo.

U.S. Marshals said they have found Talia Jones, who was with her mother, 43-year-old Melinda Davis in Buffalo.

Davis was wanted on a felony child abduction warrant in Los Angeles. Talia's was believed to be with her mother but they didn't know their whereabouts since last summer.

U.S. Marshals say they received a tip that Talia and her mother may be in Buffalo.

Buffalo Police and the U.S. Service Task Force teamed up for their investigation and the search came to an end on Monday.

Talia and her mother were found on Stevens Street in Buffalo.

Davis was arrested on her outstanding warrant. Talia is now in the custody of the Erie County Department of Child Services.

Pretty incredible that Talia was found across the county, right here in Buffalo, but happy this investigation concluded with her safe.
