The Meteorologists at News 4 Buffalo (WIVB-TV) say there is a chance of early AM frost in many areas inland from the lakes and across WNY while also being a hazard to sensitive vegetation in this early growing season.

This below-average pattern will persist through the rest of the week and likely much of next week.

The chance for a few mixed rain/snow showers may brush all areas Friday into early Saturday, though currently, moisture appears limited for this cold to interact with.  While we may find some minor snow coatings overnight into Saturday it currently appears limited to a dusting at higher elevations.  Buffalo averages 0.3″ worth of snow in the month of May if that is any consolation.

TUESDAY: Frosty morning, Mostly to Partly Sunny, Wind: N 5-10, High: 49-54

WEDNESDAY: Partly-Mostly Cloudy, Chance for a few showers, mainly south, High: 54,

THURSDAY: Partly Sunny, Breezy, Chance of a stray shower late, High: 54

FRIDAY: Partly Sunny, Chance of a Rain Shower, High: 44

SATURDAY: Breezy, Cold, Mostly Cloudy, Few mixed rain/snow showers, High: 43,

SUNDAY: Partly Sunny, High: 48.

No rush to get that pool opened.
