According to WIVB, current and past military have the chance to adopt most animals who are five months or older from now through November 11th at the SPCA Serving Erie County.

It's important to note that the SPCA will be closed on November 1st and 8th, but offsite adoption locations will still be available. The SPCA Serving Erie County is located at 300 Harlem Rd. in West Seneca.

You must present a military ID or DD214.

You can find out more at the SPCA's website. You can also see a list of adoptable animals here.

Plenty of cats and dogs looking for homes right now, including adorable cats named Fargo, Potpie and Twinky; along with sweet dogs like Corvin, Maggie and Rosie.

My fiancée and I adopted a dog named Odessa in 2018 and it's one of the best decisions we have ever made. There are so many animals that need a forever home and Vets & Pets is one of the best promotions the Erie County SPCA runs.
