Transit Road's Forestview in Depew Going Officially Close

Wow, look what Forestview is going to turn into!

First Louie's, now Forestview.

UPDATE: I think it is important to note that this is not happening for a while, so go in and support still while you can!

Two of our favorite spots to go for late-night food after a fun night out are going to be a thing of the past. Well, Louie's Texas Hots already closed its doors earlier this year and now, Forestview is getting ready to close as well.

A couple of employees acknowledged the close but did not have a specific time frame as to when things would actually be shut down. Why is Forestview closing and what is going into Forestview? Part of the new plan will be to make it some living spaces and some office space. Here is what Forestview is going to turn into according to a listing at Pyramid Brokerage:

In fact, Transit Road in Depew has quite the new look lately. Just in that area alone two massive apartment buildings are going up--one right across the street next to Dave's Christmas Wonderland, and another apartment complex down the street closer to Elaine's Flower Shoppe by Como Park Boulevard.

There are some parts of Transit Road over there, that really could use some serious help. The closer you get to Broadway and Transit, you see many buildings that could use some....maybe a little bit of help. The old Hidden Shamrock and Razzberries, directly across the street are two buildings that are quite the eyesores. The Hidden Sham, located at 5521 Transit Road in Depew, recently went up for sale. The price for the building, which includes the old bar and a couple of apartments, hit the market starting at $180,000.
