It’s never happened before in all of NFL history, but that changed on Sunday night.

It was a game that upset many Buffalo Bills fans. In one sports bar, a guy hit a table so hard that it flipped when the buzzer sounded at the end of regulation and the Bills lost 19-21.

While the Buffalo Bills had the upper hand going into the game on Sunday, they were unable to “squish the fish,” giving the Miami Dolphins an edge in the AFC with a 3-0 record.

Dolphins are the only team left in the AFC with an undefeated record this season.

But the Bills were not the only team that struggled on Sunday.

Sept. 25 marked the first time ever that three major teams and their quarterbacks all lost on the same day.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Indianapolis Colts with a score of 17-20, all while Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a close game with the Green Bay Packers, but inevitably lost 12-14.

All three of these teams (Bills, Chiefs, and Buccaneers) were a field goal away (or less) from sending the game into overtime.

It doesn’t make the loss sting any less, because the Bills secured most of the game possession.

It does bring a sense of relief, though, to find out that the league’s top 3 quarterbacks all seemed unable to pull off a W on Sunday. Maybe it was just an off day?

The Buffalo Bills are in action against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, October 2. The game starts at 1:00 pm at M&T Bank Stadium.
