Fire Damages 2 Homes in Cheektowaga

Several fire engines responded to a two-alarm blaze on Vern Lane in Cheektowaga on Monday night.

Firefighters worked to attack the flames from all sides, as fire started spreading to a neighboring home. Several neighbors stood outside watching the fire crews.

Officials have yet to estimate the total cost of damages.
