Father’s Day Weather: Just What Dad Wants

In Western New York the weather changes every 10 minutes so this post is probably already incorrect but according to the National Weather Service we are in for some legit thunderstorms on Father's Day.  This is music to my ears!

First off, who doesn't love a good thunderstorm?  I have been jonesing for months now to witness one.  We have had a few predicted but none of them (at least in my area) have come to fruition.  Second, as a father, I could really use some help from mother nature watering my lawn.  I really don't want to go through another summer like last year where it never rained.

The third reason, and probably most important, is that when there is a thunderstorm you get to relax!  Like most of the Dads out there, my Father's Day is jam packed with activities and for some reason nap didn't make it on the list!  Thunderstorm could help get me some sleep time.

Anyway, we should be getting some rain in the mid afternoon and heavy thunderstorms in the early evening around dinner time.  Soaking rain is expected a few times before midnight.  Hopefully this is not a tease and Mother Nature hooks it up for me!
