FAFSA App Now Available For Students Applying For Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid has never been a traditionally easy process. Coming October 1, a new app will be available for students seeking FAFSA funds.

WGRZ reports the app, myStudentAid has been in beta testing, and a full version will be available October 1, for both iPhone and Android devices.

According to WGRZ, "About 95 percent of Americans own a cellphone, making the form easily accessible, according to the U.S. Department of Education. If the form is easier to understand and complete, more families are likely to complete the form and submit it."

The app will be available for students completing the Free Application for Financial Student Aid for next fall.
