An Erie County Sheriff's deputy was arrested on Monday for accepting bribes and smuggling drugs to inmates at the Erie County Holding Center.

Adam Fiegl, 32, is facing felony bribery and drug charges after an investigation revealed that he was smuggling Suboxone to the inmates. Authorities found the drug and $200 cash in Fiegl's possession.

He is currently behind bars and awaiting a felony hearing. Fiegl was also suspended from his job at the Erie County Sheriff's Office without pay, and is being held without bail.
