The Erie County Fair announced it will raise admission prices for the 2019 fair.

In the first price change since 2009, WGRZ reports ticket prices will increase from $10 for adults, to $12, and senior admissions from $7 to $9.

"Moving forward, these adjustments will greatly help the Erie County Fair better serve fairgoers due to increasing labor costs as well as the rising prices for public safety, emergency services, ground infrastructure, fair production and entertainment," Fair CEO & Manager Jessica Underberg told WGRZ.

Kids 12 and under will continue to be admitted free, and advance ticket sale prices will stay the same at $7 for adults and $5 for seniors.
