Erie County Comptroller’s Response to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Comments

The last line is something I say all of the time. You could probably go find your grandparents or great-grandparents on Ellis Island. This country is built by those people that worked hard, got an education and had to survive because they had no other choice, so it's so disheartening when you hear people bash a country that lets us live our free lives.

I understand that some may think there aren't the best decisions made for our country, but at the end of the day, we have it a lot better off than anywhere else....and of course, if you don't agree you don't have to stay here.
