Elderly Woman Robbed in Parking Lot

A violent weekend robbery has left an elderly woman in the hospital.

Hamburg police say that an elderly 81-year-old woman was walking through a parking lot on Saturday,  when she was shoved to the ground by a guy who grabbed her purse and took off.

Emergency personnel rushed the woman to the hospital where she is currently recovering, and now police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect.

A security camera captured an image of the suspect that is described as a male in his 20s with dark hair and an average to thin build. He reportedly drove off in a dark SUV.
