If you don't have a double boiler, don't fret. Essentially create your own by filling a large pot with water, bring to a boil and then take down to simmer. Sit a smaller pot inside the larger pot. Put your chocolate melts into this pot. Let sit for a bit until they soften, and then stir. Sometimes when using colored chocolates, they will melt down too thick. If this happens, you can add in either coconut oil, or a bit of shortening to thin out the consistency.

Who needs a double boiler? Melt your chocolate in one pan, and have that pan be inside another pot filled with juuuuust boiling water. Doing this will prevent your chocolate from burning.

Once your chocolate is melty smooth, pour chocolate over the pretzel, turning it to cover all sides. Let the excess drizzle off, and lay onto a pan lined with parchment paper.

If you want to get fancy, you can add some sprinkles before the chocolate dries. If you want to get really fancy, you can melt down a different color of chocolate and drizzle it over your chocolate dipped base of the pretzel. If you want to get really, really fancy, you can drizzle multiple colors and add sprinkles.

You do you, you monster dessert maker. The sky is the limit.
