It's been a long year of staying inside and staying safe, and now Buffalo is ready for a summertime boom.

Visitors to the Buffalo Waterfront will notice some changes to the area, including the addition of what sounds like an amazing place to catch a drink --and some views-- at the Outer Harbor.

Buffalo Rising reports a double decker shipping container bar will become a permanent addition to Wilkeson Pointe.

The group Healthy Buffalo announced sign-ups for their first-ever “Co-Ed Beach Volleyball League,” with the league's founder Chas Kirsch, mentioning the addition of the bar, along with new volleyball courts, nets, and food truck.

If you're interested in joining Healthy Buffalo's volleyball league (and spending the summer in the proximity of this double decker bar), the eight-week season begins on June 18.

Registration is open now through April 30.

The exhibit will run for 12 weeks, and will take a week to set up in the Eastern Hills Mall parking lot. The "Starry Night Pavilion" is a 35,000-square-foot mobile structure, complete with heating and air-conditioning.
