"NCIS"  is not as famous as TV shows such as "Friends," or the "Big Bang Theory," but guess what the show is one of the most watched shows of all time!

It's sort of the little show that could.  As Cheatsheet.com writes,

"NCIS" defying all television norms as its rankings increase over the years – has aged like a fine wine, more pleasing to the palate with each passing season. Taking in more viewers each year, "NCIS" has become the most-watched procedural on network television.

So, it's not surprising loads of viewers tuned in last night to watch the season 16 finale, estimates at  14.8 Million.

Okay, so here it is:

Last night a shocking cliffhanger, here described by the entertainment online magazine  Inquisitor

The reveal of Emily having an opioid addiction and Fornell coming to grips with all that. As time went on, Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) was haunted by seeing Diane time and time again which just messed with his mind.  At the end of the episode, though, things took a turn that everyone saw coming yet no-one did. Gibbs was in his basement working and there were hints again that his mind wasn’t in a good place right now. As he “saw” Diane one last time and she assured him that he wasn’t alone, he looked up and there she was.

There was the return of Ziva David (Cote de Pablo).

OH GOSH!
