It's an unfortunate fact, but family dinners are a lot less common than they used to be.

So where are we eating?  The couch and the bedroom are popular options.

According to over a thousand U.S. respondents, eating at the dinner table is becoming obsolete. While 72% of respondents said they grew up eating at the dining room table, only 48% do so today. Additionally, the couch has nearly tripled as the primary eating place (from 12% to 30%), along with the bedroom (6% to 17%).

With people being busier now than ever before dinnertime can be anytime. Another interesting fact...when it comes to holiday younger people are not as confident as their older counterparts to cook or host a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal.
