Do You Check In With Your Office During Vacation? [POLL]

So I took a couple days off after the 4th.  You try and "step away from the phone", but its really hard to do.

A couple things crossed my mind.  Maybe if I check my email during my days off, I'll have less to catch up on when I get back.  Does checking your email while you're on vacation make you a better employee or just foolish?
