There are multiple locations around Western New York to get your vehicle business done. However, here in Erie County, there will be a temporary shutdown of a popular location.

Starting Wednesday, October 4th, the Erie County Auto Bureau located in Depew is going to be temporarily closing for renovations. County Clerk Michael Kearns says crews will be working to install new flooring, repainting and updating the public restroom.

If you haven't been to a DMV since the COVID pandemic, there have been a few changes. There are ways to register a vehicle, trailer, boat or ATV online. But renewing local will help keep funds here in the community.

DID YOU KNOW:
-When you renew your vehicle registration in Erie County 12.75% of your registration fee remains in Erie County....
-When you renew your vehicle registration through Albany either in a pink envelope or online that $0.00 remains in Erie County.....
Renew your registration in person at Erie County Auto Bureau or the more convenient option of sending your fee in a postage-paid GREEN ENVELOPE.

The fall is here and the snowmobile season is not far away. It may be time to go ahead and get that sled registration done!?
