Deadly Stabbing In Lackawanna [VIDEO]

Lackawanna police are investigating a double stabbing that left one person dead and another severely injured.

Authorities responded to a call at 135 Madison Avenue early Wednesday morning, where they found 21-year-old Ashley Whiting stabbed to death. Her husband, 27-year-old Daniel Whiting, was rushed into surgery at ECMC and is expected to survive.

The couple's two young children were in the home during the stabbing, and they are now in the custody of close family members.

Neighbors were shocked by the news, and considered Ashley and Daniel to be a young happy couple, who were often outside playing with their kids.
