The Buffalo Bills goal this season is the Super Bowl. Anything short is going to be deemed a failure with the team and the fanbase.

The Bills are 5-1 and atop the AFC, with another Super Bowl caliber roster.

That roster includes starting right end Dawson Knox, who is in his fourth season with the Bills.

Knox was drafted in the 4th round of the 2019 draft and it was a pick that many considered a project type of player; since Knox didn’t catch many passes at Ole Miss. He was also relatively new to the position, switching during high school.

Knox broke out in 2021 as a reliable threat down the sideline and with the vertical passing game. His  nine touchdowns last season were evidence of his potential that general manager Brandon Beane saw in him.

Just before the 2022 regular season began, the Bills awarded Knox with a new four-year, $53.6 million contract extension — tying him to the Bills through the 2026 season.

Knox talked with the Buffalo media after Wednesday’s practice and said some powerful words regarding the Bills and the City of Buffalo.

Knox said that he would’ve signed a 10-year contract extension with the Bills. He wouldn’t trade Buffalo, the fans or the people inside the Bills facility for anything.

Knox has had a rough last three months, losing his younger brother Luke, who passed away at the age of 19. Luke was a football player at Florida International University.

Knox was born and raised in Brentwood, Tennessee, which is 15 minutes from Downtown Nashville. If you’ve ever watched videos of him behind the scenes, you know how much his family and his home state means to him, so for him to think the way he doesn’t about Buffalo is something very special.
