All I can say is, Dave, thanks for the memories. In my opinion, by far, David Letterman is, and now was, the best in late night television. Yes, better that Carson and Leno combined. He had a natural funniness about him and he seemed to poke just the right amount of fun at those who should be teased a little. Gonna miss ya Dave.

America enjoyed watching Dave jump onto a velcro wall wearing a velcro suit. Seeing Rupert G from the nearby Hello Deli selling Dave’s t-shirts was a treat. Remember when Buffalo's own The Goo Goo Dolls dove into a giant bowl of eggnog one Christmas season? Thanks for the memories Dave. We're gonna miss the top 10 lists, stupid human tricks and you flipping your pencil along with Paul Shaffer and the band.

We can't believe it's coming to an end as Late Night with David Letterman goes off the air on May 20th, 2015.

I still remember friends telling me to tune into David Letterman's debut on NBC back in 1982. It was supposed to be the best show ever and it certainly be considered just that. And how about Dave being passed over to succeed his mentor Johnny Carson as the host of “The Tonight Show” in 1993? Big mistake there!

Howard Stern, President Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey will be among some of the big name guests during this, the final full week of David Letterman’s reign as a late-night king (in my opinion).

Hey, do you remember when Drew Barrymore got a little frisky with Dave?

Or when Madonna had to be bleeped through almost the entire interview?

Finally, I’ve written a top 5 list (only 5 because Top 10 may be copyrighted) of the things I’d ask Dave, If I ever have the chance.

5) Are they called Stupid Human Tricks and Stupid Pet Tricks because the humans and pets are stupid, or the tricks?

4) Would you like to see my photos...please?

3) Toupee or not toupee, who cuts your hair?

2) Would you like me to DJ your son Harry's wedding reception?

1) What show will you be watching at 11:30 or will you be sound asleep?

Again, Thanks for the memories Dave.
