Great news if you love to eat at Cracker Barrel! Nationwide, many Cracker Barrel locations have been serving beer, wine and the popular strawberry and orange mimosas! But now Western New York will have our chance to grab a drink with your meal at Cracker Barrel in Lancaster!

We got a call from a source at the Transit Road location of Cracker Barrel and it was confirmed that Buffalo is about to have beer, wine and mimosas on the menu before the start of April!!

There is more great news for those who love to grab a bite early in the day or a quick lunch in the Southtowns.

It was just a few months ago that Joan and Sue's restaurant was sold and "for rent" signs were posted. No it looks like the building at the corner of Armor Duells and South Abbott Roads is getting a much needed renovation and new tenant.

I drive by this corner all the time and was a frequent customer at Joan and Sue's. This is the perfect location for a breakfast and lunch place. Not only is it just minutes from Highmark Stadium, it is not far from the villages of Hamburg and Orchard Park. It is also just around the corner from a couple of churches. Sundays and a busy time in Armor and the restaurant has a built in crowd that passed by each weekend. Not to mention, this spot is on the way to and from the Fairgrounds in Hamburg.

Yanni's Resteraunt will be opening soon and it will be a great addition to the area. As spring and summer roll in to the Southtowns, it will be great to have some options to take the family to on the weekend or a place to stop and meet friends for lunch.
