If you plan on watching the Buffalo Fireworks from the water, the Coast Guard is letting boaters know that they will be enforcing a "Safety Zone" on the water.

The City of Buffalo's Firework show will take place on Wednesday night at 10pmand will be shot off from a barge in the City inner Canal.

The Coast Guard approved the location but will be on high alert in the area for boaters trying to catch the show from the water.

The Coast Guard will strictly enforce a "safety zone" around the barge in which boaters will not be able to anchor or travel thru during the show.

The "Safety Zone" is there to prevent boaters from being hit by falling projectiles from the Fireworks display.

If you plan on being on the water, be alert and aware of increased traffic around the inner Canal.
