We still have Halloween to get through on Thursday but the countdown to the holidays officially starts after the October 31st holiday.

One Christmas tradition will be back in Western New York in November.

Christmas in the Country returns at the Hamburg Fairgrounds for its 35th anniversary from November 7th to November 10th. The festival is expecting to welcome over 60,000 visitors.

What sets Christmas in the Country apart from other festivals are crafts and artisan vendors you can't find anywhere else. You can expect 400 artisans from across the country to be at the event this season.

There will also be "gourmet food", spa and beauty products, candles, jewelry, woodwork and of course, holiday-themed gift items.

“This is an opportunity to make gift buying and shopping very meaningful,” said event organizer Dan Kaczynski.

Non-profit groups participating in the event this year include the PUNT Foundation, Churches in Action and the Hamburg Eden Animal Rescue Team.

...and don't forget, that the Festival of Lights will also return to the Hamburg Fairgrounds the day after Thanksgiving!
