The national spotlight was on Buffalo and Orchard Park on Monday.

The Bills played the Tennessee Titans at Highmark Stadium to open up the regular season home schedule in Orchard Park. The Monday Night Football game was the second straight prime time game to open the 2022 season.

When the Bills are playing a night game at home that means that national spots media comes to Western New York, which has not happened very often before the 2021 season, so it's new territory for many of us.

The crew from NFL Live on ESPN broadcasted from Lot 3 at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Monday afternoon. They got into Western New York over the weekend and tried some chicken wings.

They went to two places; La Nova and Macy's Place Pizzeria.

NFL Live host Laura Rutledge posted a montage video on TikTok and Twitter of her, Mina Kimes and Dan Orlovsky trying the wings, which were all different flavors.

Buffalo is famous for serving blue cheese with wings and it doesn't matter which flavor the wing is, blue cheese is always the call. Never ranch, which will get you second glances from customers and staff.

Orlovsky was very skeptical about trying his BBQ wing with blue cheese and said, "this might be gross for me...I don't feel good about this."

After taking a bite, Orlovsky said "it's not gross."

Orlovsky then tried it with ranch and said "it's so much better with ranch."

I'm sure Bills fans would have been more upset if that was a medium wing, instead of BBQ, but ranch is easily the most hated condiment in Western New York.

Next time they're in town, they have plenty more places to try like Bar-Bill, Nine Eleven Tavern, Elmos, Mammoser's, Kelly's Korner, Gabriel's Gate and others.
