We're heading into the fall and while the summer is typically busy for restaurants, especially those who have patios, fall is always a popular time to visit restaurants as well.

We just love being outside and doing fun activities in the crisp autumn air. There's just something cozy about it.

Buffalo and Western New York loves its local restaurants but we also save enough room in our hearts for some select national chains, especially when it comes to fast food.

In case you have not heard, there's a third Chick-fil-A coming to Milestrip Road in Hamburg and its opening date is much closer than you think.

Chick-fil-A in Hamburg updated its new Facebook page and it shows just how much progress has been made in the past six-to-eight weeks in construction.

Chick-fil-A says the Hamburg location will open this fall, but the exact grand opening has not yet been set.

I've driven by the new location a few times in the last week or two and I'm guessing it will open sometime in October, or early November. The building itself looks just about finished and it's just the parking lot which needs work.

This will be the third Chick-fil-A location in Western New York, with the other two both in Cheektowaga (Walden Ave, Transit and Losson).

A Chick-fil-A location was absolutely needed in the southtowns, as it's still a bit of a haul for those in Hamburg, Angola and Orchard Park to get to the other locations. The traffic on Milestrip and McKinley is already congested but this will most certainly cause even more congestion once it opens.
