In an effort to sell a hovercraft the town purchased back in 2011, town officials are holding a demonstration of the vehicle today at 11 am.

The hovercraft is back on the market after a potential deal fell thru earlier this year.

The town bought the hovercraft for $70,000 in 2011 with the intent of using it to clear logs and branches from creeks.

The town had a deal with a company to sell it for $20,000 back in April before the deal fell thru.

Now, hoping to attract a local buyer, the town will demonstrate the hovercraft at 11 am this morning at Losson Park on the 7,8 and 9 softball diamonds.
