Nearly 1,000 families in Cheektowaga benefit during this Holiday season from the Resurrection Life Food Pantry, and those volunteers aren't letting a few crooks stop them from making their important deliveries. According to Kim Reynolds, the pantry's director, the thieves took converters Friday night used for the delivery truck.

Cheektowaga police say the pantry wasn't targeted.

In fact, police say six catalytic converters were stolen from about three different locations in the area.

Although, it is making it more challenging to drop off food for the people in need, the volunteers are stepping up and using their own cars to do the work making multiple trips.

These are the people that we need to tip our hats to this holiday season!
