Gas prices in Buffalo aren't going down anytime soon, so the hunt for cheap fuel is on. Most of the cheaper prices are at stations just outside of Buffalo or at the native stations, where gas is tax-free. These stations may require a bit of a drive, but if you're filling up or have a huge tank, it's worth the drive. You can save up to 60 cents per gallon. While our prices in the Buffalo area are high, be glad we're not in the northern part of the state or new New York City where prices are hovering around 3.733 to 3.599 per gallon. New York State's average is $3.561, which is higher than the national average of $3.417.
