County Health Officials are warning Casa Di Pizza patrons that they may have been exposed to Hepatitis A.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz confirmed that a server at the Elmwood Avenue establishment tested positive for the virus, and was handling food for the dining area. Customers who ate at Casa Di Pizza during the 10-day stretch from March 9th to the 19th may have been exposed.

Mark Poloncarz said that while the risk of transmission is low, it is still important for anyone who may have been exposed to get checked. However, those who ordered take-out from the restaurant are at no risk, since that food is prepared totally separate.

The County Health Department has set up two immunization clinics for anyone who may have been exposed.

The clinics will be held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention: Monday, March 23rd from 12-8 P.M. and Tuesday, March 24th from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M.
