Carrie Underwood revealed the music video for her single "Church Bells" Tuesday morning on Good Morning America. She also kicked off a 48-hour exclusive stream of the video on ABCNews/Yahoo.

The music video gives viewers an insider's look at Underwood's current Storyteller tour. It opens with Underwood taking the stage to chants of "Carrie! Carrie!" at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb. Throughout the video, we get to see Underwood in full-performance mode on different nights of her tour: at different turns singing, working the crowd, playing harmonica or jamming on guitar. Interspersed with shots of the audience going wild -- singing along, waving their arms, or holding signs (one fan's reading "This is my first concert!"), the video gives us a good idea of the live show's excitement.

"Church Bells," which Underwood has described as a little sister to Reba McEntire's "Fancy," is a revenge song. It tells the story of a woman who decides to kill her husband when he turns out to be an abusive drunk. It's a delicious murder plot, as Underwood sings, “Jenny slipped something in his Tennessee whiskey / no law man was ever gonna find / And how he died is still a mystery / But he hit a woman for the very last time.”

"Church Bells" was produced by Mark Bright and written by Zach Crowell, Brett James and Hillary Lindsey. It was Crowell's first time killing off a character in a song.

“I don’t know if I had ever written a song before where you have to kill off one of the people, and it was kind of fun. I remember kinda giggling, talking about, ‘Okay, how should we kill this guy?’” he tells Taste of Country. “I remember sitting there saying, ‘Oh, this is kind of awesome, to think kind of like a Hollywood screenwriter would come up with something.”
