If you see a group of people walking through the streets bringing holiday cheer to people who are stuck in their homes, you're not going crazy.

There will be carolers walking around Buffalo today.  And yes...no need to double check...it is still May.

According to Buffalo Rising, the carolers are called the American Caroling Company (ACC) and they'll be walking sidewalks in Buffalo today between 11 and 1 to simply bring a little holiday cheer to people who need it most.  They aren't confused about the date either.  They just want to bring a smile to people's faces.

And not to worry, they will be socially distant while doing this.  They won't get too close to you or each other while travelling in solos, pairs, and trios.

The singers are graciously volunteering their time and talent to spread holiday cheer at a time where joy is scarce,” --ACC Founder and Executive Director Jaclyn Brown

They are calling it "Covid Caroling."

This group isn't exclusive to Buffalo either.  There are 90 singers in the entire group and they cover 10 cities.  They've been on NBC's Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting and  performed for Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, the Tennessee Titans, Macy’s, and many more throughout the years.

I mean...the weather is cold, but this is a first for me.  I've never seen people singing Christmas Carols in May.  But then again, I've never seen people put their Christmas lights up this early, or decorate their cars and drive through a neighborhood blasting Christmas music either!
