Buffalo’s Skyway Gone In 6 Months?

Will your ride on Route 5 change over the next year or so? Governor Cuomo hopes so.

The decision on exactly what to do with the Skyway in and out of Buffalo will have to made before the end of Summer.

According to Metro Source News:

The governor made the request during a talk with The Buffalo News editorial board yesterday.  Several ideas have been pitched, including tearing the Skyway down.

Governor Cuomo announced a  competition to come up with an alternative to the Skyway.  The winning design will receive $100,000!
