The Bash is back for 2021! The 40th anniversary of Mercy Flight is celebrating in a big way this year!

After taking the year off, Western New York's favorite party is finally coming back. The Bash, is the party that you used to see on social media where everyone was dressed up in camo. Mercy Flight's 'The Bash' will once again be hosted at Riverworks!

Now, they won't know exactly what the COVID restrictions may be for the event, so they are going to wait until a few weeks before they announce exactly what the guidelines are. With all of the people that are getting vaccinated, hopefully things will be back open to normal by the time that September 25 comes around.

While our team remained on the front lines during the pandemic, our fundraising events and activities were sidelined. We are thrilled to be able to hold ‘The BASH’ during this special year as we recognize the support of many and celebrate Mercy Flight’s achievements over the past 40 years,” said Margaret Ferrentino, Executive Vice President, according to the Press Release this morning to media.

'The Bash' was originally hosted for over 20 years by the American Red Cross and their 'Party for a Purchase'. In 2018 the organization announced that they were passing the party over to Mercy Flight to continue this much-anticipated Western New York tradition.

You will have to make some decisions, though. A lot going on in Buffalo on September 25th: both Eric Church and Kelsea Ballerini have concerts happening that same night, at Key Bank Center and Darien Lake, respectively. Although....you could just walk after Eric Church to the BASH if you are feeling crazy; wink wink.
