Buffalo Zoo Says Goodbye To Tamari, An Amur Tiger
Just as the the Buffalo Zoo welcomed two new sand cats, some sad news happened.
WIVB reported that 11-year-old Tamari, an Amur tiger has passed away.
"It's with heavy hearts that we start Monday off with some very sad news," the Buffalo Zoo wrote on Twitter.
In a report from WBRZ, Zoo staff added,
Tamari was born at the Buffalo Zoo in 2007 to Sungari and Toma. Zoo officials say she loved to swim in the rain, roll around in cinnamon scents and she was always watchful of her surroundings.
