Even though Governor Andrew Cuomo has said that trick-or-treating will not be banned in New York State this Halloween, there are still concerns over the holiday because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Buffalo Zoo is helping out with their own, safe trick-or-treating event.

According to WGRZ, The Buffalo Zoo will be holding a trick-or-treating event on Saturday, October 3rd, and Saturday, October 10th.

Trick-or-treating candy stations will be set up for kids al around their exhibits. It will be included in the price of admission.

However, tickets are expected to go fast, according to The Buffalo Zoo, so if you think your kid would be interested in being part of this event, you should act fast. You can purchase tickets here.

This definitely sounds like a safe alternative to the traditional trick-or-treating night on Halloween. I'm betting some more trick-or-treating events that promote safety and social distance pop up between now and October 31st.

Cute animals and candy? That sounds like a winner.
