City of Good Neighbors, it is time to do your thing!
There is one young woman in Western New York who really needs our help. Twenty-four-year-old Brianna Digiacomo of Hamburg has polycystic kidney disease. She has had it since she has been born. Her blood type is O+ and she is in desperate need of a new kidney and we are here to help the search!
In order to stay alive, she has to go get dialysis 3 to 4 times, MINIMUM, a week. If you know anyone that has ever had kidney disease, you know how much that it can take a toll on one's life--constantly weak and frail.
Our friend Kim, who runs and writes for her feel-good website in Buffalo called Sweet Buffalo 716 said that when she had tears in her eyes when Brianna shared to her what she wishes she could do with her life if it weren’t for her poor health:
I Wish I Was In School. I Wish I Was In My Career Already. All I've Ever Wanted Was To Give Myself What I Never Had As A Kid."

Brianna credits her boyfriend for stepping up to the plate and being her rock:

“I don’t think I would have made it this far without him. He drives me to my appointments, helps me financially when I need it, calls the doctor when I’m not feeling well…he has  really stepped up to the plate. It’s supposed to be the best time of our lives right now. We are just trying to make it through.”
Digiacomo’s blood type is O+. You can call the Cleveland Clinic living donor line at 216-445-3150. Also, her friends and family have set up a GoFund Me site for her. Their goal is $10,000 and she is so close to receiving the goal. If you are interested in donating, you can do so here.
