As we get ready for the big game this weekend, there are plans for convoys of trucks to make their way to the Buffalo and Niagara Falls area. As you may have seen in Canada over the past week, truck convoys are making travel difficult and bringing traffic to a halt in some locations. These are organized protests that aim to end the mandates surrounding COVID-19 both here in the United States and in Canada.

On Thursday afternoon, you could already see delays and long lines of trucks near the Peace Bridge. Because of the border and proximity to Canada and the bridges, it seems like the ideal location for this sort of protest.

According to reports, "The Convoy To Save America" will roll through Western New York this weekend.

Download our APP for updates and although it may not have a big impact around the majority of Western New York, it may affect your travel along the 190 or 290 this weekend.
