It's a sad day for restaurant-goers in the northtowns.

According to WKBW, the Buffalo Roadhouse Grill has announced on their Facebook page their permanent closure, due to loss of revenue because of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

The Town of Tonawanda restaurant said they could no longer operate with the drastic reduction of business.

"This decision was not made lightly but as a result of multiple shutdowns and a drastic reduction of business we can no longer operate at a loss without any hope for the future."

Tonawanda was designated in the orange zone at the end of November, which meant no indoor dining was allowed. Only delivery and takeout.

The site was originally the Roadhouse Grill, but after they closed in 2008, Buffalo owners stepped in to make it the Buffalo Roadhouse Grill in 2009. It's located on Niagara Falls Blvd.

I loved Buffalo Roadhouse Grill. Their burgers were awesome and the warm rolls and mason jars were what made them special. It's unfortunate they had to close under these circumstances.
