Summertime brings along a lot of great things for kids and parents.

Camps and adventures, vacations, and warm weather is something that many youths look forward to. However, if you're a parent, guardian, teacher, and/or school administrator, we all know that the work isn't done with summer vacation kicks off.

Officials from the Buffalo Public School system are taking the summer to make some changes in the school system.

One set of those changes that is on the agenda is going to be a revision to the current BPS' Code of Conduct.

The Code of Conduct, which is officially called the Standards for Community-Wide Conduction and Inventions Support, is the primary set of rules that students are required to follow as a member of the Buffalo Public Schools community.

This set of rules and regulations are generally updated year-to-year as officials try their best to help create a safe and effective environment that will help our children learn and grow.

This summer, BPS officials have scheduled a series of meetings and are asking the community to come and review some of the proposed changes, and give them input on what needs to be added, removed, or amended.
