The Kellogg Observatory has been closed to the public for almost 20 years, but on July 14, the iconic feature of the Buffalo Museum of Science will be back open to the public.

The museum will be hosting an opening weekend on July 14-15, where "Guests will be able to access the roof deck (capacity limits apply) and peer through solar telescopes for solar viewing. Once the sun sets, guests will be able to step into the newly renovated Kellogg Observatory and peer through the restored Lundin Telescope (first come, first served)."
