One local school teacher had a great story to share on social media about an unexpected visitor to her class this morning.

Shannon Conners, a local second grade teacher posted this on Facebook:

The post reads:

"27 years of teaching and one of my lovely 2nd graders smuggles his fish into school... in his water bottle... that he ALREADY drank out of ...This is a first...

Now ...what do you do with said living, swimming Nemo in the water bottle???
Send him back on the bus? Call the fish uber? Fish sit for the day??"
Not sure how it worked out for the fish, or the student. But something tells me his parents may be less amused than his classmates and teacher were about the whole thing.
Kids will be kids -- this young girl snuck her pet lizard into school so that "he wouldn't be lonely."
This teacher discovered her first grade student snuck two kittens in her backpack one day at school. The student said she wanted to be able to cuddle them after she finished her work.
Same.
