Do the math....what were we doing about 40 weeks ago? Apparently, more than just shoveling!

According to the AP, many area hospitals -- specifically Mercy in South Buffalo -- are seeing an influx in babies being born, thanks to being stuck inside with not much (besides the obvious) to do, during Snowvember!

The average is about 200 before the end of August...so far they're tracking to go over 250!

Amy Gomlak, VP of Women's Services for Catholic Health, actually called the show to confirm the increased amount of deliveries!

In the meantime, what would be a good name for a baby born as "a result of" the Snowvember storm?

Some of your suggestions:

  • Snowden (our fave! Thanks to Kia from Grand Island!)
  • D'frostaleak (Danny G, Williamsville)
  • Snowbird (Amy, Depew)
  • Elsa Mercy (Valazquez, Cheektowaga)
  • Lake E. Fect (Mary, Wheatfield)
  • Blizzard (Crystal, Marilla)
  • Snowy White (Chris, Dunkirk)

What's your suggestion?
