The warm weather returned this weekend to Western New York and along with it came an event that Western New Yorkers love.

That event is the outdoor car show. On Sunday, I had a chance to share some bonding time with my 16-year-old son Avry who loves cars at an event called coffee and cars.

The Cars and Coffee event was held in the parking lot of Wimbledon Lanes in West Seneca and it is an open car event where people can show off their cars, trucks, and other rides. There were classic cars, new cars, and even a couple of herses that were proudly on display.

The event is family-friendly as I saw people of all ages there enjoying the wide variety of rides. Also, the event is free to attend. They were selling coffee and 50/50 raffle tickets to benefit local non-profits. Also, there was a food truck on-site where a lot of people were grabbing hot dogs and hamburgers along with fried dough.

According to Wimbledon Lane's Facebook page, it looks like this will be a monthly event throughout the Summer.

This was really the first big event to kick off the 2022 car show series. According to the website buffalocars.com, there are a ton of events on the horizon.

There are cruise nights coming up in Tonawanda and Elma this week and then to start the month of May there is some sort of cruise night/auto event happening almost every day around Western New York. There are event some swap meet and car show coming up if you are looking for parts for your ride.

See all the events HERE.

Check out some of the amazing rides I saw at the West Seneca Cars and Coffee.
