It won't be long now. The Buffalo Bills will begin their 2022 season campaign soon.

The team's veteran players will report to training camp on July 23rd. The rookies will report on July 18th, with the first practice being held on July 24th, which will also be the first open practice to the public.

The Bills are the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season and it's because of the amazing roster that general manager Brandon Beane put together.

Quarterback Josh Allen will be the centerpiece to the team's success, as will his weapons on offense, like wide receiver Stefon Diggs and tight end Dawson Knox.

Knox will be the starting tight end, with free agent signing O.J. Howard being second. But who will be the third tight end behind Howard?

Tommy Sweeney looks to have the edge in that department, but don't count out undrafted free agent Jalen Wydermyer.

Wydermyer went undrafted in 2022 out of Texas A&M, which was a bit of a surprise to many.

The 21-year-old tight end is a big target at 6'4'' and 255 lbs, but he is also a pass catching threat who is faster than his size might have you assume. Wydermyer will have to prove his blocking can hold up at the NFL level in order to make the team, but he brings a load of talent and confidence.

Speaking of the offense, there's another UDFA who has a decent chance to make the roster -- Alec Anderson out of UCLA.

Anderson went undrafted in 2022's draft, but brings solid skills at run blocking. He's got prototypical size at 6'5'' and 305 lbs. He's got great instincts to play at guard at the NFL level, but he will need to sure up the weaknesses that made him go undrafted.

The Bills starters on the offensive line will most likely be Dion Dawkins, Rodger Saffold, Mitch Morse, Ryan Bates and Spencer Brown.

The backups who are likely to make the team include Ike Boettger, David Quessenberry and Tommy Doyle.

Greg Mancz was also a free agent pickup, and the Bills still have Bobby Hart and Cody Ford, along with drafted tackle, Luke Tenuta.

While there will be competition, Anderson has a decent chance to make the roster as a reserve player. In fact, I would be shocked if he didn't at least make the practice squad roster, which will stay expanded this season in the NFL.
