It looks like a Bills Mafia fan favorite will be in Buffalo for another couple of years and it looks like we might get a glimpse at what kind of offense will run over the next couple of seasons.

Here in Buffalo, we are about the underdogs, and on any NFL team, there is one player who would be considered to be an underdog as more and more teams move to a high-power passing attack.

That would be the fullback. The Buffalo Bills are one of the few teams in the NFL that still use a fullback and it looks like the Bills will continue to use one for their rushing attack for the next couple of years.

The Buffalo Bills announced that they have resigned fullback Reggie Gilliam to a two-year contract extension.

Gilliam has not been much of an offensive threat for the Bills. He signed as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and since then Gilliam has played in 30 games. In those games, he has rushed three times for three yards. He has also caught 5 passes for 39 yards and one touchdown.

With a fullback on their roster for a couple of years that might signal how the Bills will be moving forward with their offensive attack. It could be more rushing attempts for the running backs and more blocking help in the backfield for quarterback Josh Allen.
