The Buffalo Bills announced that they signed safety Jared Mayden from the Jets practice squad. They released cornerback Xavier Rhodes to make room for Mayden.
Sunday's game will be the first game back for the Buffalo Bills since Damar Hamlin's injury on Monday Night. The latest update from the Buffalo Bills on Hamlin's condition came on Wednesday afternoon.
"Damar remains in the ICU in critical condition with signs of improvement noted yesterday and overnight. He is expected to remain under intensive care as his health care team continues to monitor and treat him."
At the time of this writing, the NFL has not yet announced if the Bills/Bengals game which was postponed on Monday night will be made up or canceled.
The Buffalo Bills currently hold the 2nd seed in the AFC playoffs and they have already clinched the AFC East title. The Patriots are currently battling for a spot in the AFC playoffs. They would have to win for a chance to make the playoffs.
