The Buffalo Bills are well on their way to the top seed in the AFC.

They're 5-1 going into their week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers at Highmark Stadium on Sunday Night Football. Buffalo has a half-game lead over the second seed Kansas City Chiefs, while also holding the tiebreaker against the Chiefs with the head-to-head victory in week 6.

The Bills currently have the number one offense in terms of yards per game and the number one defense for yards allowed per game.

The Bills have averaged 29 points per game through six games and they have proven in two of their last three wins that they can win close games, against good teams; along with the other victories blowing out other teams (Rams, Titans, Steelers).

That, along with having the leading candidate for the MVP (Josh Allen), is why the Bills are 11-point favorites against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.

It's not just this week though. The Bills are actually on pace to be double-digit favorites in all but two of their remaining games, other than at New England and at Cincinnati; which are both also still over five points.

These are not final spreads, just projections based on the current market. However, the point spreads for the Packers game this Sunday and the Jets game next Sunday are the current betting line that is unlikely to drastically change.

The Bills are projected to be a 5.5-point favorites at the defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals...that's wild.
