It's the game of the week in the NFL: the New England Patriots at the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park for Monday Night Football.

The Bills (7-4) are a half-game behind the Patriots (8-4), but New England has played one more game than Buffalo due to not yet having their bye week.

The Bills are one of the best offenses in the NFL, going up against one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Bills rank second in points scored this season with 29.6 points per game, while the Patriots have allowed the fewest points per game with 15.8 points per game.

What's interesting is the fact many might be forgetting the Bills have allowed the second-fewest points in the NFL with 16.5 points per game. They had one bad blemish, when the Colts ran for nearly 300 yards on the Bills defense led by Jonathan Taylor.

The Patriots are seventh in points per game (28.0).

The Bills are three-point favorites at home for Monday Night Football, but if you watched ESPN's weekday show Get Up on Friday morning, you would have assumed the Bills are 14-point underdogs on Monday Night Football.

Yes, everyone picked the Patriots to beat the Bills. For obvious reasons, Bills fans were less than thrilled about the fact New England was far and away the pick to win Monday, even though they're only a half-game ahead of the Bills, who just blew out a Saints defense who limited thee Dallas Cowboys high-powered offense to two touchdowns and have scored the second most points and allowed the second fewest points in the NFL this season.

Monday Night Football should be fun. Also, the weather will be something to watch. Right now, it will rain during the morning and early afternoon, with dropping temperatures and high wind gusts. Snow very possible for game time.

Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has never played in the snow before and also never in a game this cold and windy.
